Application and website portal for registration and search for missing persons are under development.

Feb 20, Sao Paulo: Agreement established the flow of information within the Federal Government to streamline and modernize the search for missing children and adolescents in Brazil. The measure, signed between the ministries of Women, Family and Human Rights (MMFDH) and Justice and Public Security (MJSP), integrates the records of complaints in Dial 100 with the National Register of Missing Children and Adolescents.
For Minister Damares Alves, holder of MMFDH, the measure shows the transversality with which the Federal Government deals with the issue of human rights. “This is a very important issue because when a child disappears, the entire family structure is shaken. We will work together, developing technologies so that this no longer happens in Brazil. Later on, we will also serve the other social groups ”, he said.
With the partnership, the ministries will integrate the databases to initiate the policy of registering and locating missing children and adolescents.
MMFDH will be responsible for sharing the complaints received by the channel and for distributing the information to the other public security bodies linked to the execution of the missing person policy.

Families will be able to use the tool to report the disappearance of children and adolescents across the country and provide information about the case.
