Christmas campaign launched to serve children and the elderly in Brazil
Presented at the Planalto Palace, Alliance for Volunteering created to stimulate the culture of volunteering and expand the reach of actions

Nov 10, Brasilia: Children and the elderly will benefit from the Voluntary Christmas campaign launched this Monday (9th) at Planalto Palace. Donations may be made until December 10 and aim to benefit 10,000 children and 8,000 elderly people across the country.
New or used toys will be collected at collection points. Those interested in supporting with resources should access the Pátria Voluntária platform ( patriavoluntaria.org ). Agreements are also being signed with private companies to support the actions.

“Pátria Voluntária's portal will be the bridge between those who want to help and the host institutions. I count on the help of each one of you to make the Christmas of these children and the elderly more welcoming ”, said the President of the Board of the Volunteer Country program, Michele Bolsonaro, when launching the campaign.
The event was attended by President Jair Bolsonaro.
Alliance for Volunteering
And during a ceremony at the Planalto Palace, the “Alliance for Volunteering” was presented. Spouses of public persons were invited to participate as ministers; governors and governor; and ambassadors and ambassadors, in addition to representatives of international organizations operating in Brazil.
The initiative seeks to stimulate the culture of volunteering in Brazil and expand the reach of actions on behalf of the most vulnerable. “We believe that joining efforts, we will go further, achieve more and better results and exponentially multiply the culture of volunteering in the country through civic actions, sustainable development, cultural, educational, scientific, recreational actions and promotion assistance and defence of human and animal rights ”, said the executive secretary of the Pátria Voluntária Program, Adriana Pinheiro.
