Brazil Ministry of Citizenship offers a free course on early childhood care
“Happy Child Program - Knowing the Family and the Community” is a partnership between the Federal Government and the University of Brasília (UnB).

Nov 26, Brasilia: The course “Happy Child Program - Knowing the Family and the Community” is now available on the Citizenship Portal platforms, prepared by the Information Evaluation and Management Secretariat and the National Secretariat for Early Childhood Care of the Ministry of Citizenship together with the University of Brasília (UnB).
The general objective of the initiative is to expand knowledge and promote a more qualified performance of the professionals who work in the Criança Feliz program and other professionals working in the social assistance network, addressing topics such as territory, community, service networks and the diversity of Brazilian families.

Classes will be offered in the Distance Education (EaD) modality and participants will be entitled to a certificate. Anyone interested in the topic will be able to participate, however, the course is aimed at professionals working at Criança Feliz and other professionals working in social assistance services networks. The workload is 20 hours.
Applications can be made until December 20 and the course must be completed by December 31, 2020.
The EaD Portal of the Ministry of Citizenship currently offers 26 courses and several tutorials on topics such as Early Childhood, Social Assistance, Bolsa Família Program, among others that are also open for registration.
