After the pilot accused the occurrence of a panic alert during the flight to the capital of Bahia, mechanics inspected the aircraft and ended up finding part of the drug, immediately being called to the Federal Police.
With the help of Federal Criminal Experts and sniffer dogs from the Civil Police, other hiding places were located where the rest of the drug was located.
The drug was sent to the Regional Superintendence of the Federal Police, where the crew members were also taken in order to give evidence.
The investigations will continue to identify those responsible for the illicit cargo, who may be responsible for the crimes of international drug trafficking and the association for trafficking, provided for in articles 33 and 35 of Law No. 11.343 / 2006, whose penalties, added together, can reach 25 years. of seclusion.
